Long time no see! I did become pretty inactive the moment I promised a schedule and everything didn’t I? I do feel guilty abandoning something I put so much effort into for such a long time but I was focusing on some other aspect of my life. That being said, I think I should’ve still managed to put out a blog or two and for that, I hold myself accountable.

Now that I’m back, I think it’s only fair to share what’s been up with me. Before I start with anything, I’d like to extend my gratitude to all the new people who followed my blog. I genuinely appreciate it. I will be putting out more marketing blogs soon so I hope you’ll look out for them. In any case, I’d like to put it out there that every like and every follow that my page gets makes me seen and happy. So, thank you!

Now, the most significant change in my life right now would be that I got my first job! I am working as a digital marketing executive at a marketing agency. I’m pretty excited about this opportunity and I think it’ll be a huge learning experience. That being said, I think I should mention that it’s been 4 months since I started the job. I moved out of my home and it’s been taking me some time to adjust to this new place. Thankfully it hasn’t been all “dark” during this transition period. I’ve met some nice people, rekindled some old friendships and even though I still feel lost sometimes (literally and figuratively) I’m determined to make the best of it. Don’t let me fool you though, I’ve already cried myself to sleep and felt hopeless a couple of times after moving.

The worst part of all this is that I have messed up my schedule. It’s been a couple of months but I’m still not able to fix up my schedule to incorporate the things I used to do pre-job. I always find an excuse to not do something and I’m tired of it. To keep me accountable, here I am. Since starting the job, I’ve had more hands-on experience with performance marketing (mostly Facebook ads) so I’ll try to write a couple of blogs around that (keep an eye out for that!) I’ve had more places to explore since I moved to a new place so maybe I can share some stills from that in my lifestyle blog as well.

Anyways, I think that is all the updates I have for you. I don’t know how much more I can/should share so I’ll stop here. But I’ll definitely be posting more blogs around digital marketing so I hope you look out for that. I hope you’re all doing good though! Until next time x
